Being common, yes that’s more like my thing
In a world with population so huge and competition so high, you strive everyday to bring the best of you
You are your biggest critic. And you have every potential to make or break yourself.
You struggle with your everyday routine making sure every step you take is a perfect one. You might not be good at something but you know you can get there and in some cases you know it’s just not your thing. Yet you strive, expecting to be a certain something or a certain someone that you know you aren’t.
We set ourselves standards and lest you achieve them the critic in you rises.
Why so? Ever wondered?
Why do we hate ourselves so much that we forget that we are our biggest strength. Why can’t we for once accept our imperfections? Why can’t we see it that we were not created to be perfect. We strive, strive so hard to get there and get disappointed because we are no different in the way we want to be or want to do things. My only question is why it is a big deal to be normal, to have common choices, why do we have to be different?
Agreed being different has it’s perks, but if you are doing it just for the sake of it then you will be forcing yourself to do something that you aren’t, which by the way is the worst thing you can do to yourself.
You are what you are, deep inside, an innocent soul. It’s easy to get caught up in the mundane stuff and forget who you actually are but it’s rather difficult to remain true to yourself and to accept your commonness, to appreciate and celebrate the fact that you didn’t change yourself to show that you are different.
You enjoy the fact that you are common, a normal being who’s different from others because you are not trying to be one.
